NYC question: Is the Empire State Bldg lit up with all red lights?

It is in the background on MSNBC and I was wondering if this is accurate or not. I have never seen it all red before (what is it supposed to represent?).

occasion, or whoever has the money to pay for the lights on a particular night. Example: Blue and Red for the new Super Man movie(?!?). I think they should be saved for special occasions to make it more "special" and not just another color every other day.
