New York
Related: About this forumI ♥️ New York (my 1,500th post)
As a native New Yorker, I am so proud of my home state, especially now. (I moved to NC 20 years ago, but I spent over 40 years in NYC where I was born and raised.)
I heard the indictment news at 5:30, and like everyone here on DU I'm absolutely delighted. I've been reading the many threads and posts about it for the last 3 hours.
I called a friend, a fellow NY native and staunch Democrat, and we rejoiced together. We hope this is just the beginning, that GA will follow with indictments now that NY has led the way; followed by any other states investigating him, and the DOJ.
There are so many posts here celebrating the indictments, and I wanted to chime in but decided to save my 1,500th post for something special, like giving praise and appreciation to New York.
I LOVE NY.....and I'm SO proud!
