Croton man accused of secretly filming people at health club

CROTON, N.Y. (WABC) -- A 19-year-old Croton resident faces felony charges for allegedly filming people using the locker room and shower area of a local health club.
State Police say Daniel "Max" Winsten reportedly "surreptitiously" filmed patrons "in various states of undress."
After four months of investigation in collaboration with Croton Police, the county District Attorney's office and the state Computer Crimes Unit, state police arrested Winsten Friday.
Police said they seized and analyzed "a number of" computer items from Winsten's residence and then charged him with Unlawful Surveillance in the Second Degree, a Class "E" Felony, and Possessing an Obscene Performance by a Child, also a Class "E" Felony.
