NYPD: Teen in custody in Bryant Park shooting

NEW YORK (WABC) -- A teenager was in police custody Sunday after a shooting at a crowded ice-skating rink in Bryant Park that left two people wounded.

Charges were pending against the teen, whose name authorities did not release.

The victims, ages 20 and 14, were taken to Bellevue Hospital. One was shot in the back, the other in the leg. Both are in stable condition.

The shooting happened just after 11 p.m. Saturday night at the popular park in midtown Manhattan, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues and near the New York Public Library.
