Bullet Hits, Kills Queens Teen Aboard City Bus

Police are looking for the person who shot and killed a 14-year-old girl who was on an MTA bus in the South Jamaica section of Queens last night.

Investigators say Daja Robinson was on a Q6 bus around 9 p.m. Saturday, just blocks away from her house, when someone opened fire near Sutphin and Rockaway Boulevards.

Sources say a bullet went through the window of the bus, hitting Daja in the head. She was pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital. So far, no arrests have been made.

Sad episode, we really need to crack down on all of them. Drugs and gangs seem to be a common factor besides them having a gun that was probably not legally carried anyway.
