Couple Employed By NYPD Found Dead In Queens In Apparent Murder-Suicide

A husband and wife employed by the police department were found dead in Queens Wednesday in an apparent murder-suicide.

Officials say they responded to a 911 call in Hollis reporting a woman had been shot shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say they arrived to find a 46-year-old school safety officer shot multiple times in front of a home on Camden Avenue.

She was pronounced dead at Queens General Hospital.
