Why am I surprised?
I'm sure they think he's a good ole boy.

I'm just a damn Yankee living down here, missing signs of ingrained racism until they smack me in the head.

And especially within law enforcement. It's full of drugs and they are trafficked by drug gangs. Often those gangs are controlled by past and present law enforcement members.

Law enforcement is rotten to the core. It's a place where people can go and never return from without any indication of where they've gone. I would only drive through there in daylight and only if I had no other way to go. It's that scary.
