RALEIGH 4/04/2026 12:58 AM -- The New Bern Police Department is searching for a missing child: Austin Ross.
Austin Ross is a 9-year-old, White, Male, approximately 4 feet tall, weighing 50 pounds. He has Blonde hair, and Blue eyes. Carolina-blue Spiderman T-shirt, blue jean shorts, black and white Nikes. Also had a black and blue Jurassic world backpack.
The victim is believed to be with : Amber Vest.
Amber Vest is described as 45 years old, White, Female, 5 feet 4 inches tall. She has Brown hair, and Hazel eyes. Purple shirt, blue jeans, Hoka shoes, and a dark blue beanie.Medium build female, last seen with braided hair
