"Mountain Moral Monday Live!

In case you haven't heard (and how could you have not?) I am going to be doing the whole show from 3 PM to 6 PM live from the middle of the Mountain Moral Monday rally here in Asheville on August 5!

Very exciting stuff. And, the sort of thing that I feel will become an amazing part of the legacy of the show here on 880. I came in, wanting to trail blaze a bit, not knowing the ins and outs of radio like many others. To that end, I tend to think outside of the box a bit, and perhaps get more ambitious than I might otherwise.

But when we heard the Asheville was the next stop on the Moral Monday train, I knew that we had to be a big part of it, in a big way. So, plans are underway to make it happen.

I am encouraging anyone and everyone to come, to come talk to me live on the air, to bring protest signs and to show the world what real patriotism looks like! I might even suggest some signs that mention "WEST CAROLINA!" David Cohen of the Asheville Citizen Times had a recent political cartoon depicting exactly THAT! It warmed my heart to see that the conversation we'd been having here for a month and a half was going somewhat mainstream! Let's keep it moving by having a ton of signs up Monday. And perhaps some national media will be there to capture images."
