But we seem to be losing 61-39 with 25% of the registered voters having cast ballots that have been already counted.

On the other hand, the early results may reflect lower turn-out precincts and some changes might occur as higher turn-out precincts report: New Hanover county is now reporting against

And at least my county, Mecklenburg, is against. And from what I observed, the real objective of this Amendment, to divide the reliably Democratic black and gay communities, did not come to pass.

But still very disappointing overall.....
