Meeting the President

1. So last night one of the local stations, that was

otherwise doing a great job of covering the event, ran a clip of Rep. Renee Ellmer's response to the President's visit. All she had to offer is that "Obamacare has absolutely devastated the state of North Carolina".

What does that even mean?

I could not believe they ran such a stupid and out of context comment.

2. Ridiculous. It's all the NC GOP has.

If I see that commercial one more time blaming Kay Hagan for Obamacare I'm going to puke. My brother and sister-in-law are self employed and enrolled in Obamacare (they live in NC). They got good rates on far better insurance and were very pleased. You'll never see the media interviewing people who have something good to say about it.

3. McGrory looks unhinged.

I read at WRAL how he more or less barged to be first in line. ...so he could talk about off-shore oil drilling.

4. Uh oh, octoberlib,..the photos have disappeared.

I just see a little "x" mark in place of the photos. I saw them fine, just yesterday.

Those photos were sort of NOT flattering.
