Checking in with other ND primary voters

Lines were long here in Fargo. This is my first time voting in a ND primary but other people in line sounded impressed with the turn out.

How was it where you are?

1. I was under the impression that ND used a caucus system as opposed to the primary?

2. It's some kind of hybrid

I got my ballot, signed the line that said I would support the democratic nominee, checked the box for my candidate, dropped the ballot in the box, and then was on my way.

Seems like a primary to me, but there is something they do next that doesn’t require me caucusing the rest of my day away.

3. I hate to admit, but I didn't vote because I thought that

I didn't learn that it was more like a primary until my parents texted me to say they had driven an hour to go vote. At that time, I didn't have time to vote.

They really need to figure out what it is. I am so confused and I live here.
