... Akron (35 miles) and abuts Akron/Summit Counties Metro Parks.

Having lived in both cities (born in Cleveland and left Akron in '77), it is wonderful.

Only Anchorage's huge park that runs through and all around the city (you can walk to anywhere in Anchorage and not have to cross more than a small handful of auto traffic). It's a bit better, and then there's South Mountain Park in Phoenix, which is pretty spectacular, especially the view at night from the top of the mountain.
