Went out to get the mail just now ...

The only item in my mailbox was a mailer promoting that nut job Christina Hagen. “Endorsed by Jim Jordan!” it said. That’s supposed to be a recommendation?

Well, I know it was silly, but I right away took it out to the back yard and scooped up my dog’s morning “business”with it and then threw it all in a plastic bag for the trash.

Made me feel a wee bit better, anyway ....

I have noticed that Republicans send out about 10 times as many of these flyers as Democrats do. In 2016 I got that garbage for the orange shitstain in my mailbox at least 3x a week and got maybe 1 or 2 mailers total for Hillary. Wonder how effective they are....

That my area was considered “safely Democratic “ so they preferred to concentrate on other more red areas. We see how well that worked ...

Who sends out the most mailers.

They said closing the post office which is the mf45 parties wet dream would make it harder for those mailers to get to voters. Kind of stupid of them to get rid of the agency that passes on their propaganda mailers..

I have a snapshot of what’s in my mailbox everyday from the post office. It’s free at usps.com. It’s the best thing ever!

Back in the 80’s.

Richard Vigurie’s (Google him if you don’t recognize the name) mail campaign raised tens (hundreds?) of millions via his mail campaigns, money he used to get fealty from conservatives who would flack his extreme Reich-wing policy fantasies or face being primaried by an even WORSE Reich-wing conservative.

Not as powerful anymore. Facebook, Twitter, and other social media have eclipsed direct mail.
