Ted Strickland declined to run for Governor of Ohio in 2014...which leads me to speculate he may indeed be on the Presidents list. Ted is a friend to Labor....and a close friend to President Obama.
Anyone else have thoughts on this option?

(12,265 posts)I imagine I read as much or more than you do...three newspapers a day and more than a book a week, not light reading my last was Meacham's book on Jefferson.
I am tired tired of not looking for women to fill these positions.... Sorry don't mean to insult you even though you did a good job of insulting me....
Tolerance would be nice....

(5,165 posts)Though up in years, Strickland is sharp, and his knowledge and experience should be used in some way by the administration.
I personally believe his age would be detrimental in a run for major office against a likely younger opponent, but he is energetic and has much to contribute.
