Ohio voters to decide on $2.5 billion in funding for infrastructure projects in May election

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Billions of dollars for roads and bridges, water treatment plants, storm water and sewer systems and other projects are on the line in the May election in Ohio.

Voters are being asked to renew the State Capital Improvement Program that has been providing critical funding for infrastructure since 1987.

On State Issue 2 is a constitutional amendment asking voters to approve $2.5 billion for infrastructure projects over 10 years.

Municipalities apply for low-interest loans and grants through the State Capital Improvement Program.

In the recent past voters have had their votes manipulated and denied regarding Constitutional issues. IMO this is a massive heist of funds by the legislature. Nothing good comes out of this Statehouse.
