VOTE TODAY: Don't forget to vote in Tulsa!

We need to boot Dewey out of office, as Mayor he's not been effective.

Christiansen will NOT be a Mayor for all Tulsa, he will represent his friends and bring the city to a crawl like he did when he was on the City Council.

Kathy Taylor got Tulsa moving--and she can do it again. We need someone with the spirit and insight to move the city forward, a progressive who is a positive reflection on our city.

Vote for Democrat Kathy Taylor today!

At my polling place, the Democrats and Independents go to one line and the Republicans go to the other. A lady was standing in the Dem/Ind line when I walked in, and a lady at one table pointed to the lady signing in and said, "Democrats and Independents are here, Republicans at the end of the table." (The right side of the table, of course... )

I got in line behind the lady signing in, and the poll worker sitting at the Republican area said to me, "Republicans are here..." and I shook my head no. She kind of sighed and commented to the other poll workers that she needed something to do. So I told her perhaps she should move down to the other side of the table, as it was cooler down on that end. She nodded in agreement, then we talked about how hot it was outside and how the building A/C hadn't seemed to catch up yet.

So, it seems to me that GOP turn out might not be so hot, at least I hope so, since the lady acted like things had been a little slow in her line today!

Happy voting, Nancy and Mr. Nancy! Hope we get good news tonight.

Maybe their books are divided though.

ETA: 28 year old daughter just told me she is on her way to vote too.

But the books are still sorted by party.

Had to do some research on the City Auditor candidates before I left, as I didn't know anything about them.

The other two...conservatives. That's pretty much all I needed to know, but I did find a site for Criswell that satisfied me: http://tulsaauditor.com/

It's short and sweet, tells about Cathy, discusses a few issues, etc.
