1. none here
You must be along the Columbia somewhere, I heard there was some major wind there. I am in the Willamette Valley and it has been unseasonably beautiful! But today, we have rain and more normal February weather. I saw that Brookings got to 68 degrees day before yesterday. Would have been a nice day for crabbing

2. Sorta.
Portland.
It wasn't so bad last night, but the night before was insane. It doesn't help that the designer of the building I live in thought it should be bigger on the 2nd floor where I am than on the first floor. Essentially turning the whole thing as much less aerodynamic than a normal square building as possible. Looking at the other poor architectural choices that were made, I'm half surprised they didn't attach actual sails to the corners as well. . I believe I now have an understand of what it would be like to try to sleep inside an awkwardly shaped box placed inside a wind tunnel |

3. February is the best month around Brookings if you like clear and sunny. Compare
with August when it's blazing in the inland valleys, sucking the ocean fog onto the coast for really pretty miserable summers.
