I sat in my bed & voted......

Ok I did have to drive to the PO to drop it off in a safe mailing location.....Dropped my Wifes also.

And my oldest daughter @ 18 cast her very first vote.

And nothing could have been easier. Bonus- its verifiable with a paper trail....

Why doesn't EVERY state do this?

I posted about my 18yo and at least half-dozen other members posted about first time voting 18yo kids, too.

As i've learned earlier, here in Randall county we didn't have a choice - it was all via voting machines. I was told i could request a mail-in ballot but that today was the last day, and given it was in the afternoon i decided not to for fear that the ballot wouldn't be mailed in on time.
