Conservative talker Victoria Taft fired at KPAM this week...

Well, we all have been suffering from KPOJ's death. Interesting that the righties here in Portland just lost one of their talkers off the air now with Victoria Taft being let go from KPAM here. I've never listened to her and haven't even had her on my radar at all, but wonder what is going on behind the scenes here, and if there's some sort of game going on with radio station owners. KPAM is owned by Pamplin Broadcasting, not Clear Channel, so there's not some sort of coordinated game just by Clear Channel as was the case with KPOJ and so many Clear Channel affiliates.

That was many years ago when I lived in the Valley. Seemed kinda fair and balanced at first, then began to drop all the liberal-leaning hosts. KPOJ was a real blessing, left side of the dial and all, but we know what happened there. I've been enjoying Carl Wolfson's blog talk radio show online. Still shake my head that Lars Larson's ugly rhetoric lives on in the market he views with such disdain--Portland, Havana on the Willamette. Sheesh!

Never listened to Victoria, but knew about her. Pretty sure I wouldn't be too keen on her broadcasts, but I wish her well.
