Pennsylvania National Guard sent to Messiah Village in Cumberland County

MECHANICSBURG, Pa.
The Pennsylvania National Guard has been dispatched to Messiah Village in Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County.
The facility says 37 staff members and 23 nursing care residents have tested positive for COVID-19 since Nov. 9. All nursing neighborhoods are now under quarantine.
Death at Claremont home
Claremont Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Cumberland County says a resident has died from COVID-19.
Nine more residents and six employees have tested positive for the virus.Since weekly testing resumed on Thursday, Nov. 5, 39 residents and 13 employees have tested positive. That's a majority of cases at the facility since the pandemic began.
