Clarion County Register & Recorder Sees Surge in 'Buying, Dying and Marrying'

This is an article from my hometown in Western PA (Clarion).

"A substantial increase in property transfers, probated estates, and marriage license applications resulted in a busy year for the office of Clarion County Register and Recorder."

I suspect why the probate stats are higher. I keep in touch with the local news, family and friends, and have lost a few friends to "fake news" (they weren't included in the reported stats).

Maybe someone will find this interesting.

I am old too, but as a retired therapist, I got paid to think about these things. Irish_Dem Feb 2022 #4

resulting in property transfers and probated estates?

Not sure why there would also be an increase in marriage license applications.

Which shows that I'm old (73) and simply don't think about those things.
