Oh, Governor Tom Terrific and staff are so predictable...we just had this news this morning:

The Latest:
"HARRISBURG -- Gov. Tom Corbett's chief of staff, Bill Ward, will be nominated to fill a vacancy on the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas, the governor's office announced this afternoon."
"Mr. Ward, 60, of Mt. Lebanon, will depart his position effective Tuesday. He will be replaced by Stephen Aichele, the governor's general counsel."
"The Philadelphia Inquirer reported this morning that the governor is expected to meet with some personal advisers next week to urge a larger shakeup of staff."
"A longtime friend of Mr. Corbett, Mr. Ward has served in the administration since the governor took office in January 2011."
"For as long as I've known Bill, it's been his dream to be a judge," Mr. Corbett said in a statement. "I'm happy to help make that dream happen, both for Bill and for the citizens who will benefit from his knowledge and integrity."
"Mr. Ward's exit follows reports this morning that he would be resigning for another job."

"Pennsylvanians are rejecting Gov. Corbett's policies that raise tuition, hurt schools, and increase property taxes. There is no amount of staff reshuffling that can help Gov. Corbett unless he is willing to change his unpopular polices."

That's not much of a surprise at all with Governor Corrupt, is it...you have to pay to belong to HIS administration!

(6,819 posts)One of Corbett's main faults is that he is stubborn and doesn't make any effort to listen to other points of view. He picks an ideological point of view, and sticks to it, and refuses to spend any time with anyone who might offer a different point of view.
Mrs. Aichele has actually been making some adjustments so the Motor Voter ID law is not as oppressive as it could be.
Mr. Aichele has been around - he knows how the system works and he hopefully might encourage some moderation and compromise.
By the way, this morning's paper talked about how Bill Ward is actually well-qualified to be a County judge.
