Mark Pinsley is a U.S. Army veteran, public servant, and Lehigh County Controller who believes government should be on the side of the people who work hard, raise families, and keep our communities running.
For too long, Pennsylvania families have been asked to do more with less. Prices keep rising. Healthcare costs too much. Utility bills are out of control. Public schools are forced to fight for the resources their students deserve. Meanwhile, corporations, private equity firms, and wealthy special interests too often write the rules in Harrisburg.
As Lehigh County Controller, Mark has built a record of taking on tough problems, asking hard questions, and putting taxpayers first. He has worked to lower prescription drug costs for county employees, protect taxpayer dollars, and blow the whistle on medical malpractice that wrongly separated children from their families, helping reunite those children with their loved ones. Mark understands that accountability is not just about spreadsheets and audits. It is about whether government is doing its job for the people it serves.
Mark has served the Lehigh Valley for years and earned one of the highest vote totals in the county in 2023 because voters know he will not back down when something is wrong. He has shown that public service means being accessible, honest, and willing to fight for people who do not have powerful lobbyists or corporate donors looking out for them.
In the State Senate, Mark will fight to lower the cost of living for Pennsylvania families. That means taking on rising healthcare and prescription drug costs, standing up to utility companies, protecting consumers from price gouging and hidden fees, and making sure families are not squeezed while their wages fail to keep up.
Mark will also fight to ensure data centers and other major corporate developments are accountable to the people of Pennsylvania. Large projects must create real benefits for local communities, respect workers, protect taxpayers, and not leave families paying more for energy, water, infrastructure, or other essential services.
Mark will be a champion for working people and organized labor. He believes every worker deserves dignity, safe conditions, the right to organize, and a wage that can support a family. He will fight for good paying union jobs, stronger worker protections, paid family and medical leave, and a real path for every Pennsylvanian to build a secure future.
He will also fight for fully funded public schools, reproductive freedom, LGBTQ+ equality, affordable mental health care, and real accountability in Harrisburg.
