Frank Fina was Corbett's Chief Deputy when Corbett was Pa. Attorney General. He also has been Corbett's chief apologist for trying to explain why it took almost 3 years for the AG's office under Corbett and his hand-picked successor to file any charges against Sandusky, after a credible witness came forward.
Fina also has been the main critic of everything that Dem AG Kathleen Kane has done or said.
Now Fina has a new role. He is now leading the court battle to prevent the release of emails from the Attorney General's office during the Corbett's years. These particular emails were the subject of a sexual harrassment payment by the State to female employees who worked in the AG's office. The emails have been described as obscene or pornographic.
Attorney General Kane has supported the public release of the emails. When she arrived at the Attorney General's office, all of the emails had been deleted. It was thought they were permanently deleted, but then an expert was able to recover them.
