As usual Pat Toomey is trying to have it both ways.
Toomey did not announce his support for Trump until the polls were almost closed on Election Day. Afterward, Toomey said he would not be a "rubber stamp" for Trump's initiatives.
and from official statement:
Unfortunately, the initial executive order was flawed it was too broad and poorly explained. This apparently resulted in denied entry into the United States for lawful permanent residents and others who should have been allowed immediate entry. Fortunately, the administration has clarified that this order does not apply to Green Card holders and that the Secretaries of State and Homeland Security have the ability to grant exceptions which certainly should apply to, among others, foreign nationals who served the U.S. military in various support roles.

(13,225 posts)after about 200 attempts yesterday. Toomey is an ass. He needs to stop speaking out of both sides of his mouth or he will be remembered as being on the wrong side of history.
Perhaps he needs to spend lest time grovelling for money from the filthy Koch brothers and start paying attention to the evil that he is enabling.
