HARRISBURG – Republican gubernatorial hopeful Scott Wagner calls it a dirty campaign trick.

His campaign tracker calls it assault.

What is for sure is that a routine luncheon speech at a country club near York on Tuesday landed Wagner the role of unwitting star in a pair of YouTube videos, showing him angrily confiscating a video camera from the tracker, who works for a liberal-leaning opposition-research super PAC based in Washington.

but now he's been exposed as a bully. And the people in that room applauding the assault on accountability. For shame.

2. Wagner was in town tonight for a Republican Party dinner

The local media was there to cover the event and Wagner refused to talk to them because he knew he would be asked about the assault.

3. Police are investigating

The tracker who's camera was taken called the cops to report being assaulted. When most people think of assault, they think of an aggressive physical action like a punch, kick, etc, but just putting your hand on another person is by legal definition assault.

The PAC is also considering legal action if the tracker's SD card isn't returned.
