follow up to my Toomey post-he represents the Devos family not Pennsylvania

P. 289 has a provision by Pat Toomey to create an exemption from the university endowment tax — the exemption appears to apply only to Hillsdale, a conservative college the DeVos family has generously donated to.

Yes Toomey put it in, but even McConnell saw how bad that would be.
They can't write a law that benefits only one super-rightwing college in one state.
