What can you tell me about Loris, SC

1. Loris?

Great place if you like small towns, Republicans and being near Myrtle Beach.
It is about 20 miles from the beach, and in a very conservative part of the state. Upper income retirees tend to go to the Charleston and Hilton Head areas, and they trend more liberal than the state, but MB retirees are generally pretty maga.
Myrtle Beach is paradise for kids, but very crowded and gridlocked 6-8 months out of the year.
Loris is a small town that has attracted a few MB-oriented businesses lately. It used to be fairly affluent when tobacco was the big cash crop.
Let me know if you have any specific questions. My family went there on vacation when I was a kid, and then it was the place for S.C. teens to go on Spring Break.

We are looking to move to Loris by the end of the year..
