Nikki returns to form

Nikki, the hero of the Rebel flag removal, returns to form by throwing some red meat to the base. Note the state only has 3 operating abortion clinics.

From today's State Paper:
In a letter to S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control director Catherine Heigel, Haley asks the agency to “engage in a prompt and comprehensive investigation of the policies and practices of abortion clinics in our state, prioritizing those affiliated with or owned by Planned Parenthood, its subsidiaries, and its affiliates.”
DHEC oversees the state’s abortion clinics, including one in Columbia run by Planned Parenthood. Other clinics are in Charleston and Greenville.
“Over the past weeks, I have been shocked by recent accounts of unethical practices at clinics affiliated with Planned Parenthood, particularly those regarding the sale of human fetal tissue,” Haley wrote.

days of this announcement, an article came out saying Nikki Haley is looking good for a VP pick. But alas, the "anchor baby" crowd will reject her as not being a real citizen.

She is the youngest governor in the US, early 40s. She is good for the next 4 or 5 elections. And she would be a very, very bad person to have in charge.

thing would be if she challenges Graham for his seat. Since after the flag flap the baggers all say they would never vote for either one again. Could get a D in there. LOL

But I'm not sure Jesus could win in SC as a Dem. Your idea of Nikki challenging that moderate Graham (moderate being as bad a label as communist in the rest of the US) is interesting and could actually happen, but I think she will go the Palin route: lectures and a FOX show and haul in several million a year.

she would go to the media or some big paying gig after she is termed out. I do know it won't be with the banks, who wants to hire an accountant who failed to pay taxes?

The old, if Jesus ran as a democrat and the devil as a republican in SC, the devil would win every time.
