Republicans in TN are trying to push a law that would result in NO AGE LIMIT for marriage???

"A GOP-backed bill in Tennessee would eliminate any age requirements for marriage, a move that critics are calling hypocritical amid baseless Republican accusations that the LGBTQ+ community is attempting "groom" and "sexualize" school children.

H.B. 233 gives Tennesseans "an alternative form of marriage" between individuals who have a "conscientious objection to the current pathway," according to state Rep. Tom Leatherwood, the bill's Republican sponsor.

As WKRN reported, the GOP bill, first introduced in January, establishes a common-law marriage between "one man" and "one woman" but omits any age requirements for the union, an omission that Democrats have blasted."

Unbelievable. And I honestly don't understand the 'reasoning' behind this bill -- so that people can have an alternative method of marrying, as a protest against same-sex marriage???

the age limit for marriage down to 12, because of the child he wanted to marry. Now, I will admit that, in my early teens, I was a bit sheltered and clueless. But, myy first thought when I read the story was, "what a sick person. And where are this child's parents? What is WRONG with these people?" I had no idea then how widespread this is.

So today, I want to say, "F*** all those perverts".

Like the Tailban the GOP wants your daughter married off at early ages. Show small girls dressed as child brides.

I hope the blowback is explosive against the Tennessee GOP.

but I had to look it up. It is creepy as hell. I do not know where I heard it or when but the moment I read those 2 words I got creeped out.

Yup, Daddy protects his little girl all up there by themselves just the 2 of them, protects her from the creepy men that want to come and take her away. Choice for her? You gotta be kidding, silly little dopey headed girl. Daddy takes care of all then hands her off to someone he chooses to "take care" of her.

CREEPY!

This Group Of Pedophiles masquerading as a political party keep turning out to prey on children. Ohio is trying to lower marriage age to zero too. They lie and say Democrats and Gay People are grooming children, meanwhile they are the ones passing sickening laws like this. All projection.
