Johnny Manziel kicked out of frat party in Austin

It’s no secret that Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel once wished he was a Texas football player.

Despite his several attempts to make peace between Aggies and Longhorns, party-goers were having none of it Friday night in Austin.

Just as Texas coach Mack Brown rejected Manziel from the Longhorns’ program, members of a Texas fraternity did not welcome him to their party.

In the video below Manziel can be seen leaving the party to the jeers of those in attendance. It isn’t clear if it’s Manziel in the pink polo , but a report by Burnt Orange Nation shows Manziel in a similar outfit while in Austin.

Be advised the video has strong language.

From Burnt Orange Nation:

Johnny Manziel Stops By West Campus; Is Politely Asked To Leave

Johnny Football stopped by the University of Texas last night and decided to attend a polite fraternal gathering of academic peers. Unfortunately, they were not as welcoming has he had hoped. Manziel was thrown out of this fraternity party "quickly and harshly."

Manziel is no stranger to UT, as it was one of the schools that he was interested in attending had he been offered a scholarship. Unfortunately, for both parties, he was not offered and now shines as a student athlete at the Agricultural and Mechanical Department. That doesn't mean that isn't still a fan...

-snip-

Manziel, who less than two weeks ago was reportedly sent home from the Manning football camp for sleeping through multiple mandatory meetings, returned to his central Texas home where his father said he was recovering from "severe dehydration." Only a week later, he was bombarded with a number of questions about his personal life and behavior at the SEC media days. The Heisman trophy winner has hidden behind the "I'm only twenty years old" excuse for a while now and it appears that the public has and some Aggie fans have grown weary of his antics. This incident was small and isolated, but it appears that there is very little that can stop Johnny Manziel, both on and off the field.

One of the comments to the article:

"There was alcohol present and Manziel is under age. Of course he was asked to leave. Also, being underage and in the presence was probably a violation of Johnny’s plea agreement a couple of weeks ago. He had to have been admonished by the court to abide by all laws."

So even though they are the ones throwing full beer cans and cussing and screaming, Johnny, who has no drink in his hand, is the BAD GUY.

That must be how two UT football players rape a girl at a bowl game and suffer no punishment - they've got that orange halo!

Edit to add:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phi_Gamma_Delta

Phi Gamma Delta's mission statement lists five core values for its members: friendship, knowledge, service, morality, and excellence.[10][11] In addition, members are encouraged to live by three priorities in a specific order: first, scholarship, second, fraternity, and third, self. This ordering is due to the fact that members attend university with the foremost goal of receiving an education, and that Phi Gamma Delta is a fraternity that promotes scholastic achievement amongst its members.

They've really got that friendship thing down, right? Service and morality certainly are evident. Knowledge and excellence? Hmmm.

Must be why I never was a Greek fan - just too much self-importance and hypocrisy.
