Hold on to your hats because Big Tex 2.0 has risen and taken his rightful place back in the newly renovated Big Tex Circle.

Fans can’t contain their anticipation for seeing the legend, but Big Tex is still covered while he awaits his debut. The Sate Fair of Texas gates open Friday at 10 a.m. and Big Tex will be unveiled at 2 p.m.

Many fairgoers grieved when flames engulfed Big Tex last October and got carted away under a massive tarp that many said looked like a large body bag....
