Hundreds of Students Rally At UT In Solidarity With DREAMers

Today about 500 hundred supporters of UT's undocumented students gathered on the West Mall to protest the Young Conservatives of Texas' "Catch an Illegal Immigrant Game." The game was canceled yesterday morning after an overwhelmingly negative response from both the student body and the University.

The YCT's event organizer and former field operative for Greg Abbott said, ironically, that they feared "retaliation" from school officials and for the safety of their volunteers. That's a bold statement coming from a group that sought to make a game out of the fear that approximately 400 of their fellow classmates live with everyday.

kick them off campus. Just like you'd do with a renegade Fraternity.
