A&M Consolidated student charged with arson in last week's bathroom fire
College Station police have arrested an A&M Consolidated High School student in connection to a fire at the school.
Fire crews responded on Thursday at 8:38 a.m. to a fire in a boys bathroom. The fire was started in a trash can, and damage was contained to the bathroom. There were no injuries.
Anson Michael Sterling, an 18-year-old senior at the school, was charged Monday with arson of a building. He remained in the Brazos County Jail on Tuesday morning with his bail set at $5,000.
