She was also the founder of Texas Freedom Network - the group that fights against the religious craziness in Texas. You know the textbook fights and the State Board of Education (or dumbification).

Both outstanding women! Ann faced very hard battles during her time, but I think Cecile's (Planned Parenthood) battles are epic considering what's going on right now.

One of her brothers, Clark Richards, is very active too. He lives close to my neighborhood and was a big Obama supporter. Good man. The whole family was always involved with some kind of community activity their whole lives. They leaned young to care about the whole world. We're in it together.

I think Ann would be very proud of Cecile right now. I know her brother Clark is.
