San Antonio FD lieutenant charged with 3rd DWI after reportedly urinating in a store has resigned
SAN ANTONIO — A San Antonio Fire Department lieutenant who was charged with his third DWI while driving a city vehicle in October has resigned.
Lee Michael Stanphill, 39, was arrested late in October by members of the Bandera City Marshal’s Office.
An officer pulled Stanphill over after receiving a call that he had been seen urinating on the floor of a convenience store in Pipe Creek, according to an incident report from the Marshal’s Office.
The report said the arresting officer noticed a strong odor of alcohol on Stanphill, who refused to submit to a field sobriety test.
