Earlier today Governor Greg Abbott announced that Monday, Feb. 2 will be designated as Chris Kyle Day in the state of Texas, honoring the late Navy SEAL from Texas.

"I have declared Feb. 2 to be Chris Kyle Day in Texas. We honor our military heroes," Abbott tweeted Friday. He also announced the day during a speech to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Mid-Winter Convention.

It is predicted a third number 1 weekend at the box office. Very possible we will see over 250 million by Monday. I wonder when the movie will start fizzling out. I predict it won't go 6 weeks at number one but who knows.

Even the First Lady Michelle Obama LOVES the movie. I am so proud to be in such awesome company as her. I have been in the minority on the American Sniper movie, but being in agreement with the First Lady makes me feel real good.
