Sen. Hutchison: Oil and gas aren't negative
During her last months as a U.S. senator, Kay Bailey Hutchison said she's working to help those in Washington understand -- among other points -- that the oil and gas industry is not evil.
Conversely, she said the oil and gas industry and businesses in other private-sector markets will fuel America into a full recovery.
"If there's anything I can impress on the people in Washington it is that jobs are created in the private sector," she said, speaking to more than 50 supporters at an event Wednesday at the Commemorative Air Force Gunfighters Pub.
"Oil and gas is good, it's not bad," she said.
