Republican Texas House candidate says there’s nothing offensive about his ‘gay Hitler’ costume

When is it OK to wear a Hitler costume and make a Nazi “sieg heil” salute?

Well, never — even if it’s a “gay Hitler” costume fashioned after a Saturday Night Live sketch and worn at a fundraiser for a food pantry.

Kyle Biedermann of Fredericksburg posed in the costume about eight years ago, then removed the photograph from his Facebook page before running for Texas House District 73. He is facing Doug Miller, R-New Braunfels, in the May 24 runoff.
