El Paso exit poll: Clinton leads Trump

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has a huge lead over Republican Donald Trump in El Paso, according to a student voter exit poll on the record-breaking first day of early voting Monday

Clinton had 71 percent compared with 21 percent for Trump, according to exit polling done by WE (fillintheblank), a nonpartisan student group from Coronado High School that seeks to get youth engaged in politics.

WE (fillintheblank) has hosted debates, candidate forums and first conducted exit polling in the 2012 election.

The results of Monday's exit poll were released at a Tuesday afternoon news conference in the Coronado school library.
