Pastor at The Woodlands First Baptist Church arrested and charged with prostitution

A pastor in Montgomery County has been arrested and charged with prostitution.

Eddie Hilburn, pastor at The Woodlands First Baptist Church, was arrested Wednesday by the Harris County Sheriff's Office and charged with prostitution, the office said.

The 52-year-old joined the church in July 2012 and was a senior pastor, according to the church's website.

Hilburn was arrested Wednesday after he paid an undercover sheriff's deputy $80 for sexual activities, ABC 13 reported. The church is still gathering information on Hilburn's arrest.

First Baptist is freaking huge---like 18,000 members huge. I'm looking for a conspicuous, public, Come-To-Jesus repentance/all is forgiven session by Pastor Hilburn; these guys generally aren't without employment for very long.

And yes, I've grown cynical in my old age; one of many sins for which God gives me a pass......
