Long lines at gas stations, assuming they had any gas at all. It sucked. Sorry you're having to go through that (again, for some people).

We are NOT going to run out of GAS!

I blame ol' pointy boots for freaking out the public... Mighty fine job you are doing there Mr. Energy! ARG! On the way home I stopped off to get some ice ( my ice maker went out ) and I witnessed two older men going to blows over the last amount of GAS! GOOD GAWD! WTF??

I'll bet you anything in a day or two everything will go back to normal yes, the price of gas will be increased by 10-15 cents... but dosen't it always around Labor Day?

UGH. Ol' Tricky Rick needs to get back on the horn and tell people to STOP FREAKING OUT!

I've got to run to the airport to pick up my wife on Saturday. She was supposed to fly back from Minneapolis last Sunday night.
I filled up before the storm hit, and haven't driven twenty miles in the last week.

HURRICANE SUPPORT AVAILABLE ON GASBUDDY

The long road to recovery from Hurricane Harvey will be challenging for Texas and those impacted by this devastating storm. GasBuddy would like to outline the tools we have available that could offer assistance as people work together on rescue operations. For those public service officers, emergency workers and volunteers, please stay safe as you continue to work under these unimaginable conditions.

Gas Tracker
tracker.gasbuddy.com
Our gas-availability tracking site continues to provide information on what gas station have power and fuel for those who need to refuel cars, boats and jet skis to aid rescue operations.

In our app, you can filter your search under “Amenities” by “Has Fuel” and “Has Power” to help locate stations that are operational. We ask that if you encounter a station with no fuel or no power, please edit the information in the app to assist others who are searching for gas.

And gas will start to be available after the weekend like normal.

It's like a run on the banks during the crash. Everyone thought, "God have to have gas." Even though they didn't need any with a 3/4 full tank. And sat in a long line to get it.

It'll settle down. Too bad it had to happen on a holiday weekend when people might want to drive someplace.

QT has been very smart shutting off half the stations so that the other half can continue to have gas. You can check the availability at their website updated daily or download an app to your smartphone that has real time availability.

People aren't getting full tanks or even half tanks. Their topping off every say for fear they will run out. And makes for long lines.

"Get out of the road and let the tankers in".

Yeah right. That is a load of baloney!!

There are only 3 gas stations around me that have gas. They all have 90 plus minute waits.
I'm hoping the Wal Mart near me gets gas this evening. They currently are out. Wal Mart has the safest waiting scenario. Otherwise, cars are blocking busy roads.
