Tyler Perry showed up in San Antonio, left 1,850 percent restaurant tip

Actor and filmmaker Tyler Perry apparently made a good impression on several people who met him around the Pearl Brewery - especially one who got a $500 tip from the star.

Luis Cantu told mySA.com that his wife, Nicole Tijerina, was "blessed" by Perry, who was in San Antonio hanging out with Janet Jackson, at Green Vegetarian Cuisine on Monday.

Tijerina works as a waitress at the vegetarian restaurant and got "an awesome," $500 tip on a $27 check.

"It couldn't have came at a better time," her husband said on Facebook. "He didn't have to tip like that but for some reason out of the kindness of his heart he did."

1. Not sure how he responds to organization but assume he's a giving person.

He's frequently on Atlanta news for responding with gifts when news reports an average Joe is in dire straits. I'd count him as one with a kind heart and giving spirit. WTG Tyler.
