I believe that once Texas turns blue on the presidential level, the GOP's national aspirations will evaporate entirely, leaving only a disgusting residue.

...They have betrayed America in treasonous fashion. The $1.5 trillion love give to their "donors" aptly demonstrates that they do NOT answer to their constituents, but to the wealthy factions and families that have propped up their power base over the years.

I used to think it was time for the GOP to spend 40 years wandering in the wilderness to atone for their sins. I now believe the expiration of the GOP is best for all, whether it be by euthanasia or outright extermination.

8. Nope. Taking it from a precinct chair in the middle of rw central Texas.

The repugs have the money (enormous amounts from big oil and other big businesses). The Hispanic priests preach about the evil devils who want to kill babies (that would be us). The mega churches spout hate against gays and women, especially Lesbians who want to castrate men and run everything. They have control of the small town newspapers and run pictures of aborted fetuses and of crosses in the lawn of churches representing all those babies who were murdered. They identify anyone who even looks like a middle Eastern person as a Muslim and quote out of context passages from the Quran to support the idea that all Muslims want to kill all nonbelievers. We have a huge uphill battle that will turn but not any time soon.
