PETA calls out Donald Trump Jr. on billboard as National Guard troops arrive in Laredo
PETA's new billboard located off Texas Loop 20 in Laredo calls out Donald Trump Jr.
LAREDO -- As National Guard troops begin to arrive in the Gateway City following an order by President Trump, animal rights organization PETA has decided to share its thoughts on the matter in a huge way.
Posted on Texas Loop 20 Frontage Road, a billboard shows a grinning photo of Donald Trump Jr. posing with a knife and hacked off tailed of an elephant he shot, alongside a message in Spanish.
"Deport callous, cheating opportunists now! All nations have their undesirables. Kindness welcome," the sign reads, as translated in English.
The billboard comes after Trump's order to deploy troops to the U.S.-Mexico border in an effort to assist the U.S. Border Patrol.
And PETA is having none of it.
