Related: About this forumDA's position dealing with misdemeanor marijuana cases following passage of Texas' new hemp law.

No true Texan can sleep soundly in their bed while the Texas legislature is in session
The legis legalize or confirm the legality of CBD oil/hemp products but this new law now means that you need lab tests to prosecute pot cases to show that the pot has at least 3% THC. Here is the result of this new law

(126,245 posts)1. If it isn't over 3% THC, then why smoke it?
The only thing it does is make me cough and gives me a headache. I guess that if I need to go through the motion of smoking something it might happen.
It is a major expense to prosecute these cases with little benefit for society even if it results in a plea or conviction.
