HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Already a lightning rod of criticism across the country, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick ripped Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo on Wednesday, calling her executive order to require masks in public, as well as spearheading a $60 million COVID-19 medical site at NRG Park, "overreaching."
Patrick released a statement, saying the medical site wasn't needed.
