10,351 new COVID -19 cases today in Texas. Greg Abbott sucks.

AUSTIN, Texas (KTRK) -- Worsening coronavirus trends in Texas have again set another grim milestone.

State health officials on Saturday reported 10,351 new COVID-19 cases, setting the record as the highest single-day number since the pandemic. The previous record was on Tuesday with 10,028 cases.

considering what a perfect storm new york city is for spreading covid-19 (subway, massive crowds everywhere, etc.) and considering how much later it really hit texas, there's really no excuse for numbers this high.

texas does, of course, have big population centers, but you'd think if any state would be able to do social distancing, it would the state that's proud of doing everything "big".

KATY, Texas (KTRK) -- A popular water park known for night hours that include displays of neon is defending the crowds during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The pools and slides at the 25-acre Typhoon Texas Houston water park were packed with guests Friday night.
