Hearing on Harris County drive through voting case

I was forwarded a twitter feed from a person at the hearing.

Richard Mitthoff is defending the county. Mitthoff is a great attorney. I met Hillary at his old home in River Oaks and I attended a funderaiser at his condo for Joe back in September of last year. Mitthoff is a heavy hitter

Forgive my ignorance on this but I would assume if the federal judge decides to void those votes the case can be appealed all the way to the US Supreme Court? I don’t see how you can legally void votes that, at least when cast, were legal. How can you change the law after the fact? At a minimum you have to put those votes “on hold” until the case is appealed as high as it can go, which will put the whole states election results on hold.

Any judge who overrules the TX Supreme Court on this is going to be pilloried. Some of those votes had to for Trump as well as Biden, so I see all voters being pissed off—not just Dems.
